Omari Khalifa Mbura is an Associate Professor with the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) in the Department of Marketing that belongs to the University of Dar es Salaam Business School (UDBS). He had worked as an Assistant lecturer and Senior lecturer in the university of Dar es Salaam Business School up to 2022 when he was promoted to an Associate Professor of Marketing. In terms of experience Mbura has been worked as manager of Management and Consultancy bureau of the UDBS; Marketing Manager of the UDSM and a Head of Department of Marketing, within UDBS. Currently he is the Dean of the UDBS. He has also been a board member of Air Tanzania Company Ltd, and the Institute of Arts and Culture at Bagamoyo among others. He has over 30 publications including 2 books. Particular interest lies in the areas of entrepreneurship development, entrepreneurial networks, small business management, social networks and marketing
