Aims and Scope
The Business Education Journal (BEJ) is a peer-reviewed scholarly outlet published by the College of Business Education. BEJ is a multidisciplinary publication outlet aimed to advance the field of business and management with novel content and robust implications for academicians, leaders and professional managers around the globe. To ensure maximum value of knowledge, all research-based articles are published online as open-access to be universally read and applied without paid subscription. The Journal welcomes contributions from diverse disciplines that establish a clear and sound link with business and management.
The Journal publishes the following article types: Original Research Articles, which are full-length papers based on original data and analysis; and Review articles to be considered for publication in this journal should be systematic literature review (SLR), bibliometric, and meta-analysis, as well as narrative review articles. We also welcome Special Issues, entailing the collection of articles organised around a specific topic. Potential guest editors are invited to submit proposals for special issues, including a brief description of the topic and a list of potential contributors and tentative titles of their articles to one of the editors.

Original Research Article
- An Original Research Article reports complete studies and new results of interest to a wide audience.
- Original Research Articles should highlight the significance, originality and rigour of the research with the potential scientific impact clear to the broad and scale-spanning readership of the journal.
- All key experimental procedures necessary for understanding research should be included in the main body of the text. Additional experimental and supporting material should be published as supplemental information. Moreover, sufficient information must be provided to ensure accurate reproducibility.
- Original research articles will usually comprise 3000-6000 words of text with 3-5 figures and 30-50 references, even though some may require no formal restrictions regarding page length, total character count, number of figures, or number of references based on substance.

Review Articles
- A Review Article should be tutorial in nature and provide a broad and balanced overview of a research field for a diverse audience.
- Review Articles should describe how the field is progressing, and key challenges that need overcoming.
- The editorial team welcomes the submission of Review Articles (SLR, bibliometric, and meta-analysis) without solicitation, though interested authors could propose a review prior to authoring the article.
- Review Articles could have 4000-8000 words of text with 8-10 figures and 50-120 references.

Submitting Special Issue Proposals to BEJ
- The proposal will identify the title/theme, details of guest editors, submission deadlines and potential authors.
- The Special Issue Editors, Guest Editors and Journal Quality Team will review the proposal to ensure it meets academic standards.
- The Lead Guest Editor will determine potential conflicts of interest and assigns the manuscript to guest editors and external referees for review and revision. The Special Issue Editor may make decisions based on the report, which can be either appropriate for publication or rejected.
